Self Catering Accommodation In Yorkshire Wolds - The Barn is One of Six Cottages

Set around a stone courtyard, these cottages provide comfortable self catering accommodation in Yorkshire, available from the end of March to the beginning of November.

Each self-catering cottage has one twin bedroom and one double bedroom. Folding beds are available, so that up to six people can be accommodated [folding beds are only suitable for children, or occasional nights].

The exception is The Archway - which has three double bedrooms as well as folding beds, and can provide accommodation for a group of up to eight people.

Beds are supplied with fitted sheets and duvets. All linen and towels are included in the cost. At Sleightholmedale, the water is not from the mains supply, but from our own spring.

All properties are well insulated, warm and comfortable. For additional heating, bedrooms have electric heaters and the living rooms feature either an open fire or a gas fire.

The cottages all have a television and a video, and there is a shared laundry with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is also a payphone available at Sleightholmedale for the use of guests in any holiday cottage.

Guests staying at Sleightholmedale Cottages often comment upon the lack of road noise and traffic, the starry skies and the total darkness at night - with no street lights or pollution.
