Tennis
We have a all-weather tennis court at Sleightholmedale cottages and our gests are very welcome to use the facilities during the week - Monday to Friday.
Fishing
Two miles of fishing can be found just a few minutes walk from the cottages at Hodge Beck, a stream flowing off the moors in Bransdale. Here you will be able to catch Brown Trout.
Enjoy the Grounds & Gardens
Three acres of garden at Sleightholmedale, open to the public only a few days of the year as part of the National Garden Scheme, 'Yellow Book', can be enjoyed exclusively by cottage residents Monday to Friday.
Special features are the old-fashioned roses and a delightful walled garden with stone paths and oak fences. The wooded hillside is limestone, and a natural habitat for many interesting wild flowers including wild daffodils, lilies of the valley, columbine and orchids.
